Principles - Six rules we don't break.
These are the bets we made about how an AI engineering studio should run. They shape what we take on, how we price it, and who we hire.
AI-native, not AI-adjacent
We design systems where AI is the substrate, not the sticker. Retrieval, guardrails, evals and observability are in the architecture on day one — not bolted on after launch.
Senior engineers, owning outcomes
One senior engineer owns your project end-to-end. No layers. No junior hands. No "project manager" who forwards emails. You get the person building the thing.
Fixed scope, fixed price
Never hourly. Scope, milestones and price are written down before we start. If we mis-scope, that is our problem — not a change order three weeks in.
Evals are the feature
