01Overview
Zaibex LLC (“Zaibex”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at zaibex.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
It covers the public website only. It does not cover the software, platforms, or systems we design and operate for clients under separate agreements — that information is governed by the relevant client contract and by that client’s own privacy notice.
By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02Who we are
Zaibex LLC is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this Site. We are a limited liability company formed in Colorado, United States, operating as a full-stack engineering studio.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at privacy@zaibex.com (see section 13).
03Information we collect
Information you provide to us
We collect the information you choose to submit through the forms on our Site:
- Project enquiry form — your name, work email, company name, company website, your role, company size, budget range, and the project description and referral information you choose to include.
- Job application form — your name, email, phone number, location, LinkedIn or portfolio link, the role you are applying for, years of experience, your message, and the resume or CV file you upload.
- Newsletter signup — your email address.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our servers and hosting provider automatically receive standard technical data, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your request. We also process your IP address transiently to rate-limit form submissions and block spam.
Analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page-performance metrics. It is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies to track you across sites or build an advertising profile. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies or local storage to remember preferences such as your light or dark theme.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive (special-category) personal information through the Site. Please do not include it in free-text fields.
04How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and communicate with you about a potential engagement.
- Receive, review, and evaluate job applications, and contact you about a role.
- Send you our newsletter, where you have asked to receive it.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site — including preventing spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
- Comply with our legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
05Legal bases for processing
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to our processing, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of, or steps toward, a contract — for example, handling your project enquiry or job application at your request.
- Legitimate interests — for example, securing the Site, preventing spam, and understanding aggregate performance, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
07International data transfers
Zaibex is a United States company with an engineering team in Pakistan. Your information may be accessed, processed, and stored by our team and our service providers in the United States, Pakistan, and other countries. If you are located in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Australia, your information may be transferred to countries whose data-protection laws differ from those of your own.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect information transferred internationally.
08Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, after which we delete or anonymize it:
- Project enquiries — kept for the duration of our discussions and a reasonable period afterward, to maintain business records and respond to follow-up.
- Job applications — kept for the duration of the hiring process and a reasonable period afterward. We may keep your details longer to consider you for future roles; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Newsletter — kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
We may retain limited information for longer where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute.
09Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, restrict or object to certain processing, receive your information in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.
EEA and United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may exercise the GDPR rights above and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
California
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Australia
If you are in Australia, we handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, and you may request access to or correction of your information.
To make a request, email privacy@zaibex.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
10Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls, reputable infrastructure providers, and rate-limiting and spam controls on our forms.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately.
11Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown above, and material changes will be made clear on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
